Two topics to post today...don't be scared...they are totally unrelated.
First of all, here's Marcus at the wrestling banquet. He won the "never quit" award. HE also got his 5th six weeks report card and got all nineties and up in all Pre-AP classes...and he doesn't even have to work that hard! Where'd all those brains come from???
Secondly...Carsyn and I have a week and a half off of school. Ft. Worth ISD, as you may have seen on national news, cancelled all 80 schools at least through next Friday, May 8 because one kid has the swine flu. I guess it was necessary. We are going to stay healthy, get some things accomplished, and of course have a little fun! First we are sanitizing the house...then we will go see the Hanna Montana movie finally!
BTW...Scott has a sinus infection and I quarantined him to the bedroom for another day til the Z-Pac is officially kickin....but he does NOT have the flu...no fever, no chills....no Swine!

is it wrong of me to express my jealousy that you are home for the swine flu? i so want a week off... marcus looks great - doesn't get dressed up that often, but he looks good when he does! like i said in my email, if you get bored, come on down next week for a visit!
First of all - who is that boy in those photos?? It can't be Marcus! Holy cow he looks mature!! Tell him congrats on the award and the grades - that's awesome!!
Did you make it to see Hannah Montana? Jenna has seen it three times so far. We both decided that her boyfriend is a cutie!

Marcus looks very handsome and grown up. He obviously also has brains and dedication. That's great! An Elyria school closed down for a week for their 1 case. I know what Jill means - getting a week off sounds good, but not for that reason. Do you have to make up any of those days? Enjoy it, and get Scott healthy again.
