Pinkbonnets?

Don't know what these pink wildflowers are called, but there seem to be more of them this year than bluebonnets. Carsyn and I stopped on the way home from dance at the Walmart distribution center, prayed for no snakes, and then posed away.

I've always liked those and the orange wild flowers! I took zero photos this year with my kids... haven't found anything nearby worth taking them to! Very sweet.

Those turned out cute. We didn't encounter any snakes during last years blue bonnet photo extravaganza.....but I itched for days as a result of the lovely red ant piles I stood in. That's just the sacrifice you have to make for good pictures. :)

I like Pinkbonnets or maybe "Fairy or Princess Paint brush" (aren't the orange ones called Indian paint brush? MOM

Could they be coreopsis? Laura Bush did a tour of their ranch on the Today show and showed some flowers that looked kind of like that. MOM

Those are sweet pix, and Tim was even singing "My Little Girl". It's really pretty here now. The trees are blossoming, daffodils blooming, and every thing's turning green.

I have missed some blogg entries lately... bluebonnet pics are always good, but I really like the "pinkbonnets" with the dance outfit...glad to hear Scott's job is going well ... good luck with both the selling and buying of houses! Aunt Barb
