Amy Davis was TERRIBLE! Jacob and I thought maybe she should have sang Rock me Amy Davis instead of the song she chose. :) I don't have a favorite yet. David Archuletta is too cute...and the rocker girl with the white streaks in her hair bugs me...but I haven't made my final decision yet.
I was rooting for Amy but she was very bad on Wednesday. Did you see her in the auditions when she sang "Blue Bayou"? Thought that was too coincidental. What about Garrett from Elida? He also deserved to lose but was rooting for him because he was from Elida. Have several I like and several that can go anytime (Amanda, the biker nurse with white streaks for one). MOM
I am so not into the seaon... I have barely watched anything!
We don't get American Idol here...but a friend let us borrow the Eurovision Song Contest '04 and it's kind of the same thing. Individual countries in Europe have their own contest and send the finalst to this all-Europe contest. You watch some of the country's contestants and wonder "this is the best you had to offer?!?!?!?" =) It makes for some good laughs.
I haven't watched this season at ALL. I don't know what's wrong with me! I'm usually an Idol Junkie!!! I should jump in this week and try to catch up.....
I am a first time idol watcher, so we'll have to wait and see if I follow the whole set of shows. However, I agree that biker nurse can leave anytime. More importantly, the newest group of Dancing with the Stars was announced for March 17! It looks like an interesting line-up of stars and I don't miss those shows:)Who tihnks Penn Teller will magicaly be able to dance?

My take is the same as every year: I don't watch it, but listen to everyone else talk about it, and catch all the replays on the news. Does anyone else wonder why that constitutes news?
